Caedrel’s 308K Championship Surge

The Championship roared

Friday belonged to Caedrel. His World Championship stream hit 308K viewers, a personal 90-day record and a 44% jump on his previous best.

That was enough to put Caedrel back at the top of the peak chart, with the kind of crowd that makes solo queue feel like a private meeting.

The week in games

League of Legends and Just Chatting share the top spot at 17.3% of Twitch watch time among these channels. Both gained ground, so the week had room for esports tension and people simply having a chat.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 made the loudest move, vaulting from #31 to #4. Minecraft cooled off, while World of Warcraft and VALORANT also gave back some space.

Counter-Strike edged up, Fortnite rose into #7, and IRL held perfectly still. Even the rankings occasionally find a chair.

Four million and counting

Trymacs crossed 4 million followers after a 13-hour stream, then climbed 22 places to #38 among the most-watched. A very efficient way to turn endurance into a milestone.

Elsewhere, CD PROJEKT RED went from 113 new followers last week to more than 23K this week, landing at #6 among the fastest-growing. The channel also cleared 500K followers, so it was a busy week for achievement notifications.

Tiny moments, big energy

• ★Caedrel said he would dress up for the World Championship Swiss stage and, crucially, wash his armpits. The preparation meta is evolving.
• ★Trymacs skipped the build server and built like a berserker instead, a move he described as unusual for him.
• ★PSP1G ran a 33-hour marathon stream on Friday. The calendar was asked to keep up.
