The city cooled, the cases did not

Grand Theft Auto still pulled 15.5M hours watched on Twitch, but the month slipped to #4 as watch time fell 18% and the cast shrank to 66 streamers. That reads less like Los Santos running out of crimes and more like the early NoPixel V stampede settling into regular patrol hours.

xQc was the department of overtime, spending 295 hours in GTA V and making court cases, cargo jobs and the Paleto mystery feel like a civic duty. A mid-month NoPixel V patch gave the roleplay crowd fresh machinery to poke, prod and inevitably break.

Meanwhile, IlloJuan took a hard left into San Andreas and made it pay. His six-stream run reached a 37K peak, with casino misadventures doing the kind of damage that makes a fictional accountant request a fictional holiday.

One peak, several kinds of chaos

The combined high hit 97K viewers on Monday, October 19, a whole-city traffic jam rather than one channel owning the freeway. IlloJuan’s San Andreas finale stretch was a major reason the old neighborhood suddenly had very expensive gambling problems.

Two nights later, auronplay posted October’s biggest single stream at 43K viewers, turning GTA V into the month’s loudest race night. Then Tumblurr arrived with a 36K Halloween-flavored spike, because Los Santos sees spooky season and immediately checks whether the hearse can drift.

Halloween had help from outside the server too: Rockstar put GTA Online into its seasonal costume and spotlighted a NoPixel V Halloween event. The result was a month where roleplay could pivot from courtroom paperwork to monsters without changing cities.

vanillamace kept the character stories moving between the big nights, while Cinna and Jerma985 helped prove that a thinner overall month can still have plenty of strange little corners worth visiting.

The countdown was part of the plot

GTA VI anticipation kept sneaking into the dialogue, especially around Rockstar’s mid-month launch trailer and music rollout. The new game was looming over October like a billboard that also happened to be the size of a continent.

That may explain why GTA V roleplay held its shape even after the September surge cooled. The strongest channels were not merely waiting for the next big thing, they were building court cases, rivalries, heists and Halloween parties sturdy enough to survive the wait.

Next stop, an even louder city

The upcoming calendar already shows 23 Grand Theft Auto segments from 3 streamers, including RawrParty returning to NoPixel V and EWROON penciling in more GTA V. The city is not packing up its props yet.

With Swiftor openly scheduling a GTA VI launch stream, November looks built for the grand handoff. October was the waiting room, but it had court cases, cursed casino math and enough Halloween drama to make the wallpaper suspicious.
