The thaw became a stampede

ARC Raiders rocketed from #77 to #7 among games on Twitch, landing 10.6M hours watched and an 81K combined peak. Frozen Trail arrived with fresh places to loot, new tools, a revamped progression chase and Twitch Drops, which is roughly the perfect recipe for a chat to demand one more run.

TheBurntPeanut became the month’s human airhorn. His biggest individual stream reached 56K viewers, while the top ten single-stream peaks all belonged to him. Drops, ambitious bench upgrades, squad rotations and repeated attempts at the Frigate gave the game a daily serial, with every episode ending somewhere between tactical brilliance and loud nonsense.

A global raid, not a one-man carry

English streams supplied 7.1M watch-hours, but Japanese creators brought 3.1M of their own. 加藤純一うん〇ちゃん turned the late month into a near-daily ARC habit, while 布団ちゃんと申します looked thoroughly hooked. The handoff between those crowds made the boom feel less like a launch-week spike and more like a game people had decided to move into.

The long-haul crew made the case too. Symfuhny and ZLaner kept the category busy for marathon stretches, and ZLaner gave ARC Raiders almost all of his streaming attention. HutchMF was the reliable squad glue, the player willing to keep queuing even when the game had very publicly won the argument.

• ★TheBurntPeanut claimed, as a joke, to have spent weeks living in a viewer’s attic and eating their cheese. Extraction shooters now apparently include tenancy disputes.
• ★TheBurntPeanut suspected somebody had slipped prank bullets into his loadout. A bad magazine is one thing, but sabotage with a punchline is art.
• ★加藤純一うん〇ちゃん mistook one Mangekyō Sharingan design for Sasuke’s before realizing it was Kakashi’s. The raid briefly became an anime identification test.
• ★HutchMF declared that he was bad at the game. Chat agreed, proving that honesty remains the most dangerous weapon in ARC Raiders.
• ★布団ちゃんと申します fired off a barrage of “yoshi” during a tense moment. The tactical callout was less a word than a small engine trying to start.

Can the ice hold?

Frozen Trail gave ARC Raiders the rare update month where the new stuff, the creator squads and the viewing incentives all pointed in the same direction. October’s leap looks earned, even if repeating that kind of detonation is a rude thing to ask of any game.

The next test is whether the new maps and upgrade chase keep producing stories once the Drops glow fades. If they do, ARC Raiders has found a very loud home on Twitch.
