Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 18, 2026
1. Introduction
Streamer Times ("we", "us", "our") operates the Streamer Times mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our App.
By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
2. Information We Collect
Automatically Collected: When you first open the App, an anonymous account is created automatically. This account has a unique identifier but contains no personal information.
Information You Provide: If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and password. We also store your favorite streamers (which channels you choose to follow) and, optionally, interest categories you pick to personalize your feed.
Feed Usage Data (optional): To improve personalized suggestions on the Home feed, the App and the personalized feed on our website can log which feed cards you tap (for example opening a stream, clip, or suggested streamer). This logging is enabled by default and can be turned off at any time in Settings under "Feed usage data" — in the App and on the website. These events contain no content beyond the card type, the streamer, and the category involved.
3. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect your location, contacts, photos, payment information, browsing history, or any other personal data beyond what is described above. The mobile App contains Google's AdMob advertising SDK, but advertising in the App is currently switched off: the App requests and shows no ads. Our website uses Google Analytics for aggregated usage statistics and may show ads from Google AdSense, in both cases only as described in sections 6 and 7 below.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the App, including: displaying personalized stream schedules based on your favorites, authenticating your account, and generating AI-powered stream predictions (processed server-side only).
Personalization: Your favorites and optional interest picks are used to build an interest profile (which categories and streaming times you prefer) that powers the Home feed in the App and the personalized feed on our website, including suggestions of featured streamers you might like. This processing happens on our servers; your profile is never shared with third parties.
5. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services to provide its functionality:
Supabase: Authentication and database hosting (supabase.com/privacy). Your account data and favorites are stored on Supabase servers.
Twitch API: We fetch publicly available stream schedules and live status from Twitch. Your personal data is not shared with Twitch.
YouTube API: We fetch publicly available stream data and video transcripts from YouTube. Your personal data is not shared with YouTube. YouTube API Services are used in accordance with Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy).
AI providers (OpenAI and Anthropic): We use AI models to generate stream predictions and texts about streamers. Only public streamer data (schedules, stream history, public video transcripts) is sent to these services. Your personal data is never shared with them.
Vercel: Our website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit it, Vercel processes the technical data every web server needs (such as your IP address, browser type and the page requested) to deliver the page and protect it against attacks. We also use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, which count page views and measure loading speed without cookies and without identifying you.
Cloudflare Turnstile: Our website's sign-in, sign-up and password-reset forms are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a person, not a bot, submits the form. For this check Cloudflare processes technical data about your browser and device. It runs only on those forms.
Resend: If you send us a request through a form on our website (for example the API waitlist on the developers page), the e-mail notification about it is delivered through Resend, Inc.
6. Cookies and Website Analytics
Our website uses Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google Ireland Limited) to understand aggregated usage (for example which pages are visited) so we can improve the site.
We ask for your consent first. Analytics cookies are set, and the Google Analytics script is loaded, only after you agree. If you decline, or make no choice, Google Analytics is never loaded and no analytics cookies are stored. We use Google Consent Mode to pass your choice on to Google's services.
Where you are asked: visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland see Google's consent dialog (described in section 7), which covers both analytics and advertising. All other visitors see our own cookie banner, which covers analytics only.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Your choice is remembered locally in your browser (this local record is strictly necessary to honor your decision and is itself exempt from consent).
Google may process this data on servers operated by Google LLC, including in the United States, under Google's data-transfer safeguards. Processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). The mobile App does not use Google Analytics or any cookies.
7. Advertising on Our Website
Some pages of our website may show ads delivered by Google AdSense, a service of Google Ireland Limited. Ads are clearly labeled as advertisements. They help us keep Streamer Times free. Personal pages that require signing in (such as your feed, favorites and settings), the sign-in pages and the legal pages never show ads. The mobile App currently shows no ads (see section 3).
Consent in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland: before any ad is personalized or any advertising cookie is stored on your device, Google's consent dialog asks for your choice. This dialog is Google's certified consent management platform under the IAB Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). Declining is as easy as agreeing, and it is offered on the first screen. It lists Google and the advertising partners Google works with, and what each of them does with your data.
If you agree, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your interests and to measure them. If you decline, Google may still show ads that are not personalized and use no advertising cookies (so-called limited ads); to show these ads, deliver them securely and prevent fraud, Google still processes technical data such as your IP address and browser information.
Visitors outside these regions: Google may show personalized ads without asking first, as the law there permits. You can turn off personalized ads at any time at adssettings.google.com.
Visitors from U.S. states with privacy laws (for example California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Oregon and Texas): showing personalized ads can count as “selling” or “sharing” personal information under these laws. You can opt out at any time with the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link that Google shows on our website to visitors from these states. After you opt out, Google limits how it uses your data and shows you only ads that are not personalized. Depending on your state, you may also have the right to know, access, correct and delete the personal information we hold about you; to exercise these rights, contact us at the email address in the “Contact Us” section. We will not treat you differently for using any of these rights.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the website footer. Google stores your choice in a cookie on our domain so it does not have to ask again.
We do not share your account data, your favorites or your feed activity with Google or any advertising partner. Google acts as a controller for the data it processes in its ad systems; details are in Google's Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and on how Google uses data from sites that use its services (policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites). Google may process data on servers in the United States under Google's data-transfer safeguards.
Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; § 25(1) TDDDG for device access) for personalized ads and advertising cookies; our legitimate interest in financing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for showing limited, non-personalized ads.
8. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely on Supabase cloud servers. Authentication tokens are managed by Supabase Auth with industry-standard encryption. We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties.
9. Data Retention
Anonymous accounts: Data is retained until the account is deleted or becomes inactive.
Email accounts: Data is retained until you request deletion of your account.
Stream predictions and history: Retained for up to 14 days for analysis purposes, then automatically deleted.
Feed usage data: Automatically deleted after 90 days. Deleting your account removes it immediately.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you, request deletion of your account and all associated data, and export your data. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at the email address below.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
13. Public Streamer Wiki Profiles
Our website publishes editorial wiki profiles about the streamers we track — public streaming personalities whose channels we list. These profiles can include publicly reported information such as age, place of residence (city/country level only), nationality, relationship status, career milestones, and estimated net worth or income. This information is researched exclusively from publicly available sources (interviews, news articles, platform pages, established wikis); every profile cites its sources, and estimated figures are always labeled as estimates.
We publish this information on the basis of our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in providing encyclopedic information about public figures of the streaming scene. We never publish private addresses or information obtained from leaks, and for streamers under 18 we publish career-related information only.
If you are a streamer featured in such a profile, you can request a correction or the removal of your profile at any time via the email address in the Contact section — we process such requests promptly.
